After the Chicago Marathon taking place on Sunday, sportswear brand Nike, released a relatable, real and perfectly timed ad.
Titled “Stairs”, the 30 second film shows a few individuals seen walking with a limp and holding their legs as they climb down stairs or try to sit on a chair.
The ad illustrates the feeling after running a marathon. In the background, “Love Hurts” by Nazareth was played, and the ad ends with the quote “Winning isn’t comfortable”.
The short film is part of Nike’s “Winning Isn’t for Everyone” campaign, originally launched earlier this year for the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.
