Despite Harry Styles leaving fans frustrated over his lack of new music releases, the former One Direction star has left fans shocked and excited over the latest addition to his brand, Pleasing.
The new drop was teased with a variety of short ads, the first showing a glass of milk being slammed onto a table by a mysterious figure and someone using morse code to send a message. The next ad showed a retro-style phone ringing and vibrating with Harry’s hand picking up the call, and fans were quick to speculate what this could entail. In the latest ad, Harry is shown writing ‘Please yourself like you mean it’ on a diner cheque while reading the line aloud.
These shorts revealed the stars’ venture into sexual wellness with the brand’s latest collection, ‘pleasing yourself,’ featuring two new products: a double-sided vibrator and a silicone lubricant.
Supporting the stars’ launch is a pop-up taking place at the Pleasing Pleasure Shop in New York City. This pop-up allowed fans and consumers to step inside the campaign with an immersive, retro-style experience, allowing visitors to explore the full range and chat in the confessional-style booth.
The pop-up was everything sensual, sexy, and raunchy, with low-lit, dark, sultry colours and tones used throughout. From the get-go, fans were met with an immersive experience featuring a retro turn dial phone with various prompts to write down a confession and pin it onto the pleasing pin board. Fans were able to explore and shop the new collection as well as Harry’s other pleasing products, such as nail polish and fragrances. For those who didn’t want to spend much, there were pleasing stickers and condoms available free of charge, as well as $5 posters and keychains to purchase alongside the collection.

This collaboration is a match made in heaven as the watermelon sugar star is known to openly feature X-rated subjects frequently throughout his music. This new venture is also an example of a brand listening to its community and fans to give them what they want. Harry Lambert, Creative Director of Pleasing, emphasised this in Thursday’s press release:
“The idea of Pleasing Yourself is at the heart of the Pleasing brand and a part of our ethos from the very beginning. When we launched, our community immediately engaged with the joy of our products brought from package to experience. The next step in the Pleasing world felt like such a natural progression, especially as something our community has been asking for from the get-go.”
The line debuts alongside Planned Parenthood Federation of America, featuring special edition condoms and sex education content. The line will be available for all to shop online this Friday.
